| Bite Sized is a series about food created by producer Beth Hoffman. Hoffman wants us to stop for a moment and think about the environmental, cultural and artistic connections we have to cooking and eating in Utah. She'll also introduce us to a variety of people who are passionate about food. |
Bite Sized - Eritrean Coffee Beth Hoffman SALT LAKE CITY, UT (2007-11-26) In our final instalment of Bite Sized, a series on food, Beth Hoffman introduces us to Rozina Bahlibi, a refugee from the African nation of Eritrea. She and other refugees from this region use a traditional coffee ritual to help them heal from their country's ongoing problems. Almost continuously since 1961, Eritrea has been fighting with its neighbor, Ethiopia -- first for independence, later over border disputes. © Copyright 2007, kuer |
