	Starting in 2008, KUER will use the latest broadcasting technology to create two additional High-Definition (HD) channels at 90.1 on your HD radio dial and expand our award-winning local news coverage. That's right: 3 HD channels full of world-class programming for your enjoyment. The first channel, KUER¹, will broadcast on both FM and HD and will feature the NPR news, information and jazz that you love, with expanded local news coverage. will feature a mix of indie and alt-rock music. will offer the greatest in traditional and contemporary classical music. 	Help us Meet These Challenge Grants: Three generous challenge grants have been offered to help achieve our campaign goals and we're hoping to match these challenges with your help during our "Drive Toward Digital": A very special friend of KUER has issued an anonymous challenge grant of $110,000 to expand local news and information programming on kuer¹. The George S. & Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation has issued a $125,000 challenge grant to help launch kuer2, an indie and alt-rock music channel. The R. Harold Burton Foundation has issued a $120,000 challenge grant to help launch kuer3, an all classical music channel. The response of KUER's listeners to the "Drive Toward Digital" will help gauge how much of KUER's vision will become a reality in 2008 and beyond. Please join the businesses, individuals and foundations who have already donated generously to this special campaign. You can direct your one-time gift to the initiative of your choice or let KUER do it for you.		Help expand KUER's local news and information coverage at 90.1 with your gift. Your support will help provide KUER's award-winning newsroom with the resources they need to produce more short and long-form features and cover the events and issues that affect you. In addition, you'll be helping take the RadioWest team on the road for remote broadcasts and host more NPR personalities at public events.
