The companies wanted to construct radioactive waste containers on a <a href="http://www.privatefuelstorage.com/project/facility.html">100-acre area on the Skull Valley Goshute Reservation</a>. The site also sits very close to the Utah Test and Training Range where the military frequently drops and tests explosives.
