Lawmakers tout oil shale

Salt Lake City, UT – Utah's House Republican caucus voted yesterday to send a letter to Governor John Huntsman urging him to take a position in support of oil shale development. Before that, with lawmakers encouraging them on, Utah Senator Orrin Hatch and Congressman Rob Bishop touted oil shale as a way to solve the nation's energy woes. KUER's Jenny Brundin reports.
