Harold Lloyd in the 1923 classic, Safety Last!

Salt Lake City, UT – Saturday, September 9th at 7 o'clock, RadioWest will broadcast on location from the Capitol Theatre (50 W 200 S in Salt Lake City). Join NPR film critic Bob Mondello, Hunter Hale of the Organ Loft and host Doug Fabrizio for a look at silent film legend Harold Lloyd -- the King of Daredevil Comeday. A screening of Lloyd's 1923 classic "Safety Last!" will immediately follow. The soundtrack will be provided by organist Blaine Gale who will play the Capitol Theatre's original Wurlitzer Organ. Admission is just 25 cents at the door, with the box office opening at 5 o'clock. Audience members are encouraged to dress in 1920s costume, and a prize will be given for best Harold Lloyd look-alike.
