Salt Lake City, UT – There's been plenty of hand wringing over the years by parents worried about the violence reflected in cartoons, and sure, they may have a case. But let's not forget that the classic Hollywood cartoons weren't created with children in mind. Animation historian Michael Barrier points out it was adult audiences that made cartoons so popular in the 40s and 50s. Today, Barrier will join us - along with Radio from Hell's Kerry Jackson - to talk about what makes the good cartoons work.
