Journalist <a href=\"\" target=\"_blank\">Mary Roach</a>

By Doug Fabrizio

Salt Lake City, UT – The writer and journalist Mary Roach says that it took science a long time to get up the nerve to study human sexuality. Even then much of that research went on behind closed doors in laboratories, Alfred Kinsey's attic and yes, brothels. Roach is coming to Salt Lake City, so we're rebroadcasting our conversation with her. She joined Doug to talk about the physiology of sex and about the stigmas that have made studying it so difficult. (Rebroadcast)(Rebroadcast)

This coming Thursday, April 16th at 7:00 p.m., Mary Roach will speak at the Salt Lake City Public Library. The free event is sponsored by the City Library and by Sam Weller's Zion Bookstore. For more information, call 801-328-2586 or click here
