3/4/10: The Gamble in Iraq

Salt Lake City, Utah – Seasoned military reporter Thomas Ricks says that the war in Iraq is far from over. He also warns that "the events for which the Iraq war will be remembered probably have not yet happened." Ricks is the author of the 2006 best seller "Fiasco," and his follow-up book "The Gamble: General Petraeus and the American Military Adventure in Iraq" is just out in paperback. Thomas Ricks is coming to Utah next week, and Thursday, he joins Doug to talk about the things we still don't understand about the war.

  • Thomas Ricks will speak at Westminster College on Tuesday, March 9th at 7:30 p.m. The lecture is part of the Kim T. Adamson Lecture Series on International Studies and will be held at the Vieve Gore Concert Hall in the Emma Eccles Jones Conservatory on the Westminster campus. For more information, click here
