Salt Lake City, Utah – Jim Matheson is most often characterized as a moderate democrat, sometimes conservative. Now, a progressive faction of his party has had enough. His opposition to the house healthcare bill and his positions climate change among others, has motivated them to pick a candidate to run against him. We're looking at the challenge faced by the organizers looking to unseat Matheson and examining the idea of trying to purify a political party.
