4/5/10: The Buddha

By Doug Fabrizio

Salt Lake City, Utah – There are some 3 to 4 million Buddhists in the US and though the religion is growing in popularity, filmmaker David Grubin says that the Buddha himself remains "a mysterious, exotic figure." Grubin has created a new PBS documentary called "The Buddha." It follows the life of Prince Siddhartha through his enlightenment to the birth of one of the world's great religions. Monday, Grubin joins us - along with author Mark Epstein - to talk about the Buddha and the relevance of his teachings today.
