Salt Lake City, Utah – The first chapter of Earl Fry's new book sums it up: No Superpower Is Too Big to Fail. Fry is a professor of political science at Brigham Young University and he says that United States is in the "throes of decline" because we're slipping in areas like defense policy, health care, education and the environment. Fry's book is called "Lament for America," and Thursday, he joins Doug to talk about the problems and what he sees as a plan for renewal.
