Salt Lake City, Utah – Reflecting back on his 18 years as US Senator, Bob Bennett says that some of the most important things he did for his constituents never made headlines. The business of the Senate, he explains, gets done quietly when you build relationships and build consensus. Bennett has returned to Utah and is joining the Hinckley Institute of Politics as a resident scholar. Thursday, he sits down with Doug at Hinckley for a conversation about his time in office and about his take on Washington today.
