Salt Lake City, Utah – The writer Jonathan Evison says that while the novel may have lost currency in American society, it's really more important than ever. He says it's an art form that slows us down, that gives us a chance to reflect. Later this week, Evison will be in Utah to give a reading from his new novel "West of Here." It's the story of a Northwest American town in 1890 and what has become of it nearly 120 years later. Monday, Evison joins us to talk about fiction and what it can teach us about ourselves.
Jonathan Evison will speak at The King's English on Thursday, March 3 at 7:00 p.m. For details on this free event, call the store at 801-484-9100 or click here
