6/16/11: Utah Redistricting 2011

Salt Lake City, Utah – Utah's population has grown significantly over the past 10 years and with the 2010 census numbers comes a fourth Congressional seat. But what will the new districts look like? The redistricting process has begun with proposals from lawmakers and citizen groups. There's even an on-line tool that lets individuals submit their ideas for dividing up the state. Thursday, we're talking about Utah redistricting: what happened in 2001, how it's working now and how the process is meant to work.

  • Visit Redistrict Utah, the website for Utah's Redistricting Committee. The site includes an online program where you can submit your own maps.
