The office of KUER's General Manager, John Greene, is adjacent to KUER's admin space. Often times we'll be in the middle of a meeting and we'll hear what sounds like a pod of sickly whales or an orchestra of rusted space ships emanating from his office. "WFMU?" A grin and a nod. John tipped me off to this interview with NPR's Scott Simon and Ken Freedman, Station Manager of New Jersey's "scrappy, chaotic and iconoclastic radio station." You'll want to check out WFMU's program schedule as well. There's something for everyone. Or at least someone.

KUER is listener-supported public radio. Support this work by making a donation today.
