This event is sold out:

Family Matters: Your Financial Lifetime with NPR Hosts David Greene and Robert Smith

  • Tuesday, November 12th at 7:00pm
  • Natural History Museum of Utah in the Canyon Room
  • 301 Wakara Way, Salt Lake City
  • Tickets are free, but seating is limited. Reserve your tickets online.

NPR presents Family Matters: Your Financial Lifetime with Morning Edition host David Greene and Planet Money correspondent Robert Smith as a multi-generational, interactive, lively and—believe it or not-- fun conversation about money that takes a deep-dive into conventional wisdom about saving for college, home ownership and retirement.

David and Robert will speak with Michelle Singletary, Personal Finance Columnist from The Washington Post and Louis Barajas who defies the traditional concept of financial and business expert. They will share their own stories, while hearing yours. We’ll all leave with new perspectives and answers, and a commitment to continue sharing on NPR and NPR.org. Because the conversation starts here, but it goes on for the rest of your life. Reserve your seat now.

This event is made possible by TIAA-CREF, an organization that shares NPR’s commitment to enriching and facilitating the conversation around financial awareness and responsibility.
