Washington, DC – Republican members of the House of Representatives vote this week on a new majority leader. The former leader - Texas Congressman Tom DeLay - recently announced he wouldn't return to the post. G-O-P rules required DeLay to step aside after he was indicted on federal fraud charges. And now Utah Republican 3rd District Representative Chris Cannon is calling for his colleagues to vote for all his party's leadership positions except Speaker of the House.
