Salt Lake City, UT – Why are male frogs turning into female frogs in places across America? Dr. Tyrone Hayes' research points to the most widely-used weed killer in America -- atrazine. In a lecture at the University of Utah, Dr. Hayes explained his research on the herbicide used to grow corn and manufactured by agro-giant Syngenta, formerly Novartis. Atrazine is banned in Europe, but it's still the most widely-used weed killer in this country.
