Salt Lake City, UT – Atrial fibrillation is the nation's most common heart rhythm disorder, afflicting over 3.5 million Americans. It's a leading cause of strokes and can cause heart failure, and coping with the disease is costing Medicare and insurance companies billions of dollars every year. Dr. Nassir Marrouche at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City developed a novel cure using the common MRI. Sheri Quinn reports.
