Utah's Health Care Exchange

Salt Lake City, UT –

Last week marked the one year anniversary of the Affordable Care Act, the law ushering in federal healthcare reform. Although there are challenges to the controversial law in the courts and by republicans in Congress, for now it is the law of the land. One major requirement of the Act is that each state creates a Health Care Exchange, an on-line source where people will be able to find, compare, and purchase insurance. Utah began developing it's exchange before the health care law was enacted and already it is a model for other states. Kim Schuske has this report.
