ATV Death At Little Sahara Recreation Area

A woman from Saratoga Springs died from injuries sustained in an ATV crash at Little Sahara Recreation Area. The unidentified 37-year-old was riding a 4-wheeler with a friend at the sand dunes in the West Desert. Juab County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Brent Pulver says the woman went over a dune with a sharp drop. It appears she sustained internal injuries. The cause of death will be determined by the state medical examiner. — Associated Press

Supporting Musicians

At least two of the Mountain West’s major music festivals have been postponed — Treefort Music Fest in Idaho and FocoMx in Colorado. And for local musicians, cancelled gigs can be a significant drop in income. Some performers have been either streaming shows from home and then viewers can send “tips,” or other financial support. Performers say people can also support their favorite bands the old-fashioned way — by buying their records or merchandise online. — Maggie Mullen, Mountain West News Bureau
