Starting Nov. 10, KUER will welcome some new additions to our program schedule: Hidden Brain (Saturdays at 9 p.m., Sundays at 1 p.m.) is a mix of science and storytelling, hosted by NPR contributor Shankar Vedantam. On Being with Krista Tippett (Sundays at 5 a.m. and 9 p.m.) is the Peabody Award-winning conversation about the big questions of meaning. Another show with a deep well of ideas, To The Best Of Our Knowledge, returns to KUER every Sunday night at 8.
Weekday evenings will have a new sound, too. If you miss Fresh Air with Terry Gross in the afternoon, catch it every night at 8. Then, stay tuned at 9 for absorbing stories from Latino USA (Mondays) and listener favorites TED Radio Hour (Tuesdays), Reveal (Wednesdays), The Moth (Thursdays) and Snap Judgment (Fridays).
On Saturdays at 3 p.m., TED Radio Hour will replace The Politics Show, a limited series about the midterm elections, effective Nov 17. Also, catch Jesse Thorn’s masterful and funny interviews on Bullseye one hour earlier, Saturday nights at 8.
With the changes above, The Splendid Table, PRX Remix, and Live Wire! are leaving the KUER schedule, for now. Please follow the links above to listen and subscribe to the podcasts. And view our full program guide here.
Here at KUER, we want to hear what you think about the changes above — and anything you hear on the station. Call our listener line at (801) 581-6777 or you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. On behalf of all my colleagues at the station, thank you for your listening and being part of KUER.
