KUER will be at the KUED Kids Reading Marathon Kick-Off Party on Saturday, November 2 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Public Library. It's a free celebration of reading! Pick up a Reading Log, choose a book to take home, enjoy hands-on activities, and take a picture in the special Sesame Street 50th Anniversary photo booth. You can also meet Daniel Tiger and other PBS KIDS characters!
Our friendsd at Tracy Aviary, Natural History Museum of Utah, Bad Dog Arts, Ogden Nature Center, Utah Symphony & Utah Opera, Clark Planetarium, Discovery Gateway, and others will be hosting activities for kids of all ages. Head Start will be engaging kids with mindfulness activities like yoga, while Westminster College will be shooting off rockets! Utah Film Center will be showing the quirky and sweet children's Swedish film "Up in the Sky" at 11 a.m. in the theatre, and Intermountain Therapy Animals will bring dogs for you to sit and read with.
