Utah County businessman Tanner Ainge is trying his hand at politics again, announcing a run for a Utah County Commission seat later this year.

Ainge was the third-place finisher in last year's Republican primary in the 3rd Congressional District special race to replace former Congressman Jason Chaffetz. He lost to former Provo Mayor John Curtis, who went on to win the general election.

Ainge, the son of Celtics manager Danny Ainge, will run for the seat currently held by Greg Graves, who's under pressure to resign after being accused of workplace harassment.

Graves has denied any wrongdoing. He's resisted calls to step down, but said he would not seek re-election.

In a Facebook post over the weekend, Ainge said he hopes to bring a fresh perspective and much-needed change to the position.
