Salt Lake City, UT – Christian Burridge is the Democratic candidate facing Republican incumbent Chris Cannon for the Third District Congressional seat. The district serves central and west central Utah, including nearly all of Utah County and the west side of Salt Lake County. The district is conservative and tends to elect Republicans. But Burridge believes he has a chance, describing himself as a New Democrat, one who doesn't vote along party lines, but rather issue by issue. The 31-year-old South Jordan father of two says he reflects the demographics of his district.
