Jessica Davis is S.L.F.M (L) and Cathy Foy, drummer for Future of the Ghost

Salt Lake City, Utah – We continue our local music series with two women making names for themselves. Jessica Davis' music is described as Uke-Thrash. She performs as S.L.F.M, and started getting attention when she opened for Sonic Youth last month. Drummer Cathy Foy plays with the local group Future of the Ghost' and is releasing a solo album next month in which she sings and plays guitar. Davis and Foy join us to talk about their craft, the challenges of being a one woman act and of course to play some music.
