Salt Lake City, UT – Every five years, the forest service reviews its special use permits. Tonight, There's an open house to consider wasatch powerbird guide's proposal for a five-year extension of its helicopter-skiing permit in the central Wasatch Mountains. The company wants to expand its number of runs and end a ban on Sunday and Monday flights. Scott Carrier, a backcountry skier, has this perspective.
