Health Care Reform Options

By Dan Bammes

Salt Lake City – The non-partisan research group Utah Foundation released a report this week analyzing five options for health care reform. The ideas are focused on controlling the costs of health coverage, something that's at the top of many business leaders' list of concerns. The Salt Lake Chamber's Employer's Healthcare Coalition helped to set the agenda for the study. Greg Fredde, a vice-president of Merit Medical, served on that committee. Steve Kroes is the executive director of the Utah Foundation. They spoke with KUER's Dan Bammes.
