Washington, DC – The University of Utah marching band is Utah's representative in the inaugural parade. The band was invited to participate after Utah's victory over Alabama in the Sugar Bowl on January 2nd. That left only a few days to raise $160,000 to make the trip. They raised the money, rehearsed "God Bless America" for the parade and flew to Washington on Sunday. KUER's Jennifer Napier-Pearce sends this audio postcard.
