Salt Lake City, UT – As the national economy sputters, state and local governments have put the squeeze on spending. One of the first areas to feel budget cutbacks is parks and recreation. State parks and after-school rec programs are on the chopping block - at a time when demand for these services is shooting up. KUER's Jenny Brundin reports.
