Utah Election Day 2022 Constitutional Amendment A results

The amendment was proposed by the Utah Legislature back in 2021. If passed, it would increase the amount of money the Legislature can spend or cut during an emergency special session from 1% to 5% of the state’s total budget. That money would not include any federal emergency funds. Voters gave lawmakers the power to convene special sessions without the governor in 2018.
