Bryan Kido in Plan B Theatre Company's \"Block 8\"
Bryan Kido in Plan B Theatre Company's \"Block 8\"

By Doug Fabrizio

Salt Lake City, UT – On February 19, 1942, FDR signed the order that authorized the internment of Japanese-Americans. When it was all said and done, some 110,000 people were held in "War Relocation Camps" including Topaz in Utah's Sevier Desert. A new play by Plan B Theatre Company opens this weekend, and it explores the questions of trust and loyalty that internees struggled with. On this anniversary of FDR's order, we're talking about the play, and about the Americans that became "the enemy."
