Salt Lake City, Utah – Gregory Bright spent over 27 years behind bars for a crime he didn't commit. For years, he fought to be exonerated and he was finally released in 2003. Bright is coming to Utah next week and on Friday, he joins guest host Jennifer Napier-Pearce to talk about his dramatic journey and how the justice system handles claims of innocence.
On Thursday, February 10 at 6:00 p.m., the University of Utah's College of Social Work will present the play "Never Fight a Shark in Water" as part of its Social Justice Series. The one-man play is based on Gregory Bright's experiences. For more information, call 801-581-8455 or click here
