2018 Election Voter Information
November 6, 2018 is Election Day, and voters across the state will begin receiving ballots by mail October 8. Looking for the how, when and where on voting in Utah? Voter Registration
Check your voter registration at vote.utah.gov.
If you are not registered to vote, register online or in person by October 30, 2016 (current Utah drivers license or state identification required).
Online:Register to vote online at vote.utah.gov.
In Person:Visit your County Clerk's Office and submit the registration form in person.
Same Day Registration:Voters in the following counties may register on Election Day (November 8, 2016) at their voting center: Cache, Davis, Kane, Millard, Salt Lake, San Juan, Sanpete and Weber.
If you are registered to vote but need to change your name or address, then you must re-register to vote.
Ballots
Mail-in Ballots:Ballots are mailed to voters from October 8, 2018 and October 16, 2018.

If you have not received your ballot by mail, check here to see if your county qualifies for mail ballots. You may request a ballot online at vote.utah.gov by November 3, 2016 or by mailing in this application to your County Clerk . Your County Clerk must receive the application by November 3, 2016.
Absentee Ballots:Any person who is registered to vote may vote by absentee ballot.
Overseas and military voters (UOCAVA voters) may electronically request an absentee ballot, receive an absentee ballot electronically, and return a completed absentee ballot electronically. Military and overseas ballots will be mailed out 45 days before an election. To apply for an absentee ballot, f ill out your absentee application here and submit it electronically or in person to your County Clerk by November 3, 2016.

Ways To Vote
Vote By Mail:postmark ballot on or before November 5, 2018 (the day before the Election)
Use the envelope provided and follow the instructions carefully.
In Utah, 21 counties will automatically mail ballots to registered voters. If you live in one of the following counties that is not voting by mail, you can request a mail ballot online or by submitting an application to your County Clerk by November 1, 2016: Box Elder, Carbon, Daggett, Emery, Piute, Tooele, Utah, Washington.
Vote Early in Person:October 23, 2018 through November 2, 2018 (hours vary)
Early voting locations are available in the following counties: Box Elder , Carbon , Daggett , Emery , Iron , Kane , Piute , Salt Lake , Sanpete , Tooele , Utah and Washington. Find your early voting polling locations here. *If you do not live in one of these counties, you cannot vote early in person.
Election Day Voting:November 8, 2016 from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm

Voter ID Requirements
When voting in person, you must have either:
One (1) form of valid (not expired) ID that has your name and photograph, such as:
- Utah Drivers License - ID card issued by the state of Utah or US government - Utah concealed carry permit - US Passport - Tribal ID card (does not need a photograph)
OR
Two (2) forms of valid (not expired) ID that have your name and prove where you live, such as:
- Current utility bill or bank statement - Social Security card - US military ID - Birth Certificate - Paycheck - Utah hunting or fishing license - Employer or University ID card - Utah vehicle registration - Check issued by Utah or the US government - Tribal treaty card - Bureau of Indian Affairs card
