Sponsor will attempt to notify the winner via email to the email address provided with entrant’s entry. Entrant must be the authorized account holder of the email address used in connection with the entry. The “authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person to whom the email address is assigned by an internet service provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. In the event of a discrepancy between the identity of the “winner” and the entrant, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine whether the entry is valid or to declare the entry invalid and select an alternate winner or not award the unclaimed prize.
The winner is subject to verification, including verification of age and residency.
Winner may be asked to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Publicity Release as a condition of receiving the prize. If a winner (i) is determined to be ineligible or otherwise disqualified by Sponsor; (ii) fails to respond to Sponsor’s first winner notification message within 48 hours of notification or after two (2) attempts (whichever occurs first); or (iii) fails to timely provide any information requested by Sponsor (e.g., information needed by Sponsor to deliver the prize) or timely execute and return any documents required or requested by Sponsor, the winner will be disqualified and forfeit all interest in the prize. If the winner is disqualified, Sponsor reserves the right to select a substitute winner or not award the unclaimed prize.

Sponsor has no responsibility for lost or stolen tickets and/or travel documents, baggage, flight or train delays, or any other occurrences beyond its control. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flights or other means of transportation. Sponsor has no responsibility for the winner's inability or failure to accept or use any part of the prize as described herein. ALL TRAVEL, INCLUDING FLIGHT AND/OR GROUND
TRANSPORTATION AND HOTEL RESERVATIONS MUST BE ARRANGED WITH SPONSOR. ALL TRAVEL RESERVATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY AND SPONSOR'S APPROVAL. NO CHANGES ARE PERMITTED ONCE ANY TRAVEL RESERVATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE, EXCEPT WITH THE WRITTEN APPROVAL OF SPONSOR. If the winner is unable to use the prize during the time period determined by Sponsor, the winner forfeits the prize in its entirety and if time permits, Sponsor will select a substitute winner at random from among all remaining eligible entries. If the winner is disqualified and there is no time to reasonably select a substitute winner, Sponsor reserves the right not to select a substitute winner and to retain the related prize. In case of prize forfeiture, no further compensation is due to winner from Sponsor. Winner is responsible for obtaining travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) at their option and hereby acknowledges that Sponsor has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance. Sponsor is not liable for any travel cancelled or prizes forfeited due to a force majeure event (including without limitation, events related to the propagation of the COVID-19 virus).
In the event a winner or their guest engages in behavior that (as determined by NPR in its sole discretion) is obnoxious or threatening, illegal, intended to threaten or harass any other person, or that in any way disparages or adversely affects the reputation, image, and/or goodwill of Sponsor or any of Sponsor's services, products, trademarks, service marks, or logos, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate such winner and/or their guest's travel and Tiny Desk Concert attendance early, and send the winner (and their guest) home with no further obligations or compensation whatsoever to winner, which may, in Sponsor's sole discretion, result in winner's disqualification from the Sweepstakes and forfeiture of any (and/or all) prize(s).
The right to receive a prize cannot be transferred or assigned. No cash or other prize substitution is permitted, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. The prize is subject to availability and if the prize cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute the prize with one of comparable or greater retail value. All costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specifically provided herein are the responsibility of the winner.
The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, local, or other applicable taxes associated with the acceptance and use of the prize. The winner agrees and acknowledges that Sponsor may be required to withhold and remit a portion of prize value to comply with applicable tax laws. The winner also agrees to provide Sponsor with a valid social security number or any other information Sponsor may require in connection with applicable tax reporting or withholding requirements or other laws or regulations.
All costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specifically provided herein are the responsibility of the winner.
9. Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, by accepting the prize, the winner hereby grants Sponsor and its representatives an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, and sub-licensable right and license to use, distribute, and publicly display the winner's name and information about the prize award, in any way, at any time, in any and all media, including without limitation, for use in advertising and marketing, without any additional approval or consideration. By accepting a prize, the winner represents and warrants that they have the right to grant the foregoing license.

If due to an error or for any other reason, more legitimate prize claims are received than the number of prizes stated in these Official Rules, Sponsor reserves the right to award only a single prize from a random drawing of all eligible entries. In no event will more than the stated number of prizes (i.e., one prize) be awarded.

In the event of cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right to select a winner from a random drawing of all non-suspect, eligible entries submitted as of the time of cancellation.

All cases and claims pertaining to this Sweepstakes must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in the District of Columbia.
