The Sky Is Falling Art Exhibit Warns of Air Pollution From Geoengineering
New paintings created from media and life sources tackle Bill Gates' plan to dim the sun to combat climate change
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - August 11, 2020 - Air pollution around the globe affects not only humans and their pets, but also the wilderness, the oceans, crops and drinking water. Despite government agencies' push for non-combustion engines, restrictions on car idling, and bans on fireplace wood-burning, no advisory board ever addresses eliminating the most obvious contributor to poor air quality that is right before our very eyes, above our heads.
No matter where one stands on the climate change debate, it should concern all that in September 2019, CNBC announced Bill Gates is funding worldwide SCoPEx (Stratospheric Controlled Perturbation Experiment) to dim the sun in an attempt to cool the planet (see "Why Bill Gates Is Funding Solar Geoengineering Research" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WR6uSXW-8p4).
However, even the promotional video above admits Gates' plan comes with significant risks and uncertainties. "It could eradicate blue sky," concedes the narrator. "…Which is the same thing as saying it looks hazy and white," warns SCoPEx Investigator Frank Keutsch. Author Stephen Gardiner states, "things like mass famine, mass flooding, drought" could effect large populations as unintended consequences. Yet, solar geoengineering will go forward.
Susan Riedley wants to start a public conversation through art. The artist's contention, indeed, the visual sources from which the art has been created, exposes chemical solar geoengineering -- AKA Stratospheric Radiation Management (SRM), cloud seeding, chaff, and mocked as "chemtrails" -- has been going on for years without disclosure, approval or agreement from global citizens living under man-made skies.
All you have to do is look up to see The Sky Is Falling.
Susan Riedley is an independent artist and graphic designer whom has freelanced for over 25 years. Currently a resident of Utah, she recently moved from her home state of California with the mission to bring geoengineering awareness to the public through art. The Sky Is Falling is her first solo art exhibit in the Crescent Gallery of Utah Cultural Celebration Center. Gallery viewing is open August 1 through September 30, 2020, Monday-Thursday, 9AM-5PM. Small group tours (10 people maximum) or virtual gallery discussions by appointment. For more information, visit the West Valley City Arts Virtual Gallery link: wvcarts.org/theskyisfalling.html
