Dolores Huerta is one of the most important activists and defiant feminists in US history, fighting for racial and labor justice largely without recognition. With unprecedented access to this intensely private mother to eleven, the film reveals the stakes involved in committing one’s life to social change.

Utah Film Center, KUER 90.1, and RadioWest are thrilled to present DOLORES as part of our monthly Through The Lens series. March's curated film exhibition features stories of diverse women across the globe. Our program includes profiles of innovators, singers, and civil rights champions and also showcases remarkable stories in the everyday lives of women. This screening is also presented in partnership The Barbara & Norman Tanner Center for Human Rights.
