Lawmakers take up abortion; float scanner proposal

By Jenny Brundin

Salt Lake City, UT – Utah lawmakers took up two abortion bills yesterday. Also - a statewide database tracking people's visits to bars is being floated by some lawmakers. The idea is seen as an attempt to compromise with Governor Jon Huntsman on his proposal to eliminate Utah's unique private club system. Huntsman is moving to change the state's liquor laws to make Utah more friendly to tourists. KUER's Jenny Brundin reports.
