Salt Lake City, UT – The massive Wikileaks release this week is yet another wake-up call about the chinks in the armor of digital security. From hackers to disgruntled employees, those who steal secret government memos, company trade secrets and personal identities continue to make headlines. The breaches are putting law enforcement and computer experts on the offensive, teaching Utahns how to protect themselves and their businesses from high-tech crooks. KUER's Jennifer Napier-Pearce reports.

The Leonardo and USTAR present a discussion on high-tech crime and prevention Tuesday, Dec. 7 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at The Leonardo Garage, 375 North 500 West, Unit 6, Salt Lake City. The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited. To reserve a spot, contact Chris at 801-531-9800 or email rsvp@theleonardo.org. Appetizers will be provided at no cost and a cash ONLY bar will be available.
