Alek Konkol

Alek started his radio career at KRBX in his hometown of Boise, Idaho. He hosted a children’s radio program every Saturday morning highlighting fun and playful music. As one of the longest running community radio programs in the Boise area, The Playground was a popular with the young and the young at heart alike. Alek’s peak radio moments include interviews with children’s icons such as Weird Al Yankovic and Yogi Bear. After leaving radio for a short stint, Alek came to work for KUER in the membership department. When he’s not in the office, you can find him getting into trouble in the Wasatch front. He loves bouldering, hiking, cycling and skiing.
