What The Black 14 Philanthropy & LDS Church Partnership Says About Racial Justice In The Church
In 1969, the University of Wyoming football program kicked 14 Black players off the team for wanting to protest The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ policy at the time excluding Black men from the priesthood. Now, the Church has announced a partnership with the Black 14 Philanthropy to distribute food to various communities.
