Recidivism

A working group of state representatives, law enforcement, business leaders and those with lived experience with incarceration want to find innovative solutions to high recidivism in Utah.

The nine-year-old program brings the federal court to Navajo Nation, rather than making parolees travel long distances. Utah has seen improved community outcomes and a decrease in recidivism.
