The RadioWest crew in the KUER control room: Lewis Downey, Mike Anderson, Ben Bombard and Elaine Clark.
Wednesday, June 13th was an amazingly busy day at KUER. While RadioWest was on the air from 11:00 a.m. to noon, Owen Bennett Jones and Golda Arthur from the BBC program NewsHour were occupying another studio. Across the hall, 8th grade teacher Tim Bailey was being interviewed by Robert Siegel of NPR for All Things Considered. A few minutes earlier, University of Utah biology professor Neil Vickers was linked up with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, talking about how moths get the energy to fly. All the while, the KUER news staff was busy with stories to serve our listeners across Utah.
