Ear Tube Research

NPR's Patricia Neighmond reports that a new study finds ear tubes in children do not speed their language abilities. Often, doctors recommend the tubes to stave off ear infections, believing that the longer the child can't hear properly, the more drastically their overall learning and development will be affected.
