Venezuela's Chavez Rejects U.S. Call for Elections

As Venezuela enters the third week of crippling nationwide strikes aimed at ousting President Hugo Chavez, the leader rejects a U.S. call to hold early elections. A U.S. official insists Washington isn't meddling. NPR's Gerry Hadden reports.
