By Doug Fabrizio

Salt Lake City, Utah – What gets you up and going in the morning? Are you excited to head to your job - or dreading another day? The British writer Alain de Botton says that for centuries we believed life and work were essentially miserable. In the mid-18th century though, he says we came to believe that work wasn't just about money but also about fulfillment. de Botton is the author of "The Pleasures and Sorrows of Work," and Wednesday, he joins Doug for an examination of our working lives and what they mean to us.
