Salt Lake City, Utah – There are 23,000 nuclear weapons in the world and enough material to create some 120,000 more. Barack Obama has pledged to pursue "a world without nuclear weapons," and Joseph Cirincione says that key negotiations and treaties this year will show whether Obama can deliver. Cirincione is head of the non-proliferation organization Ploughshares Fund and he joined Doug to talk about current efforts to reduce nuclear threats and about the future of nuclear weapons.
