Salt Lake City, Utah – Last month, we began a series on education in America with a look at the documentary, Waiting for Superman. In it, director Davis Guggenheim says that one of the biggest obstacles to education reform is the union that protects bad teachers and prevents incentives for more highly qualified professionals. But unions say that by helping teachers get what they need, they are also helping our kids. Tuesday, we're talking about the role unions play in the working lives of teachers and in our schools.
