ARC: Art for the Recovery Community | September 21-27
ARC: Art for the Recovery Community is an annual art festival sponsored by the Utah Society of Addiction Medicine to showcase and celebrate local artists in recovery. The festival welcomes artists of all disciplines ranging from poetry, photography, and visual art to music, dance, spoken word, and beyond. We come together in order to share our work, celebrate the process of recovery, and utilize art’s unique power to open, expand, and deepen channels of communication and understanding within our local community. Due to the unique situation with COVID-19, this year's festival will be held online. The Digital Gallery will be open for public viewing for the full week starting September 21, and the festival will culminate with the Livestream Concert on September 26 at 7 p.m. (MDT). The weeklong festival will also include daily artist features, interviews and more on our website and social media.

Events must be submitted at least two weeks in advance to be selected as a public service announcement, and we cannot guarantee that every event will be chosen for on-air promotion. If your event is chosen, we will write, record and produce the promotional spot in-house. Because this is a community service, we do not notify the organizations that have been selected for an on-air PSA. For any other questions regarding KUER’s online community calendar or PSAs, please contact Renee Bright at email@example.com. If you have a tip for KUER's newsroom, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you would like guaranteed spots on air with a spot listing, please consider becoming an underwriter of our station. For more information on underwriting, contact Jennifer Van Grevenhof at (801) 556-9836 or email@example.com.
