Send Us Your Sound

Voice-Contest_3.jpg

The Send Us Your Sound contest has ended, but thank you to everyone for participating!

KUER’s listeners are the heart of KUER. Help us put a voice to the tens of thousands of listeners who tune-in to the station each week.

The next time you're out and about with KUER, take a minute to tell us about it. Here's how:

  1. Find your phone's voice recorder. (Go to the Main Menu and Select Tools, find the app that is similar to Voice Memo or Voice Recorder. Here's a Wikihow Tutorial.)
  2. Record your message - tell us who you are, where you are, what you're doing and what you're listening to. Length: 20-seconds to 1-minute. (Be creative, have fun!)
  3. Keep recording to capture some extra audio around you. (Don't worry - we'll edit the audio to create a cohesive narrative.)
  4. Save and send via email to KUER's Content Director, Tristin Tabish, at ttabish@kuer.org with the following information: Name, Favorite Program, Hometown, Contact information.

Here's an example of what you could send us:
Here's how we'll create that cohesive narrative:

One winner will be selected based on the level of creativity of the submission (one entry per person). Flex your creative muscles – all submissions will be considered for on-air broadcast during our Spring Fund Drive – but one lucky winner will be selected to win a KUER swag bag, including two (2) tickets to KUER's Savory Salt Lake on May 22nd, 2015. Winner will be notified by FRIDAY, APRIL 3 AT 5:00 P.M.
